Are you a WordPress wizard looking for your next big adventure? Would you like to create visually stunning, user-friendly digital solutions? If so, we want you to join our team! We are looking for experienced WordPress developers to help us bring our online projects to life and make an impact in the digital world.
In this position, you will be working closely with your account team of 10 people to develop high-quality websites and web services for a variety of local and global clients from different industries. We work with some of the coolest clients out there, like Nudamag, Granlund, Porsche, Slush, Enfuce, Kekkilä, Kansallinen Liiga, and the Finnish Heart Association, to name a few.
You will be involved in every phase of a project, from ideation to development and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include helping to plan the technical solutions, participating in scoping and estimation, providing technical leadership, meeting clients, collaborating with designers and growth marketing specialists, sparring with other developers, writing magnificent code, and
making sure that the end result is perfect for the client. Additionally, you will also get to train clients in content management at the end of each project.
We are not just looking for someone who can code, we’re looking for someone who can bring their own creative flair and problem-solving skills to the table. We hope that you have a passion for trying out new technologies and ideas on how to make our current ones better. Our technology stack includes WordPress, React, JavaScript, PHP, SCSS, Webpack and Docker, among others.
We have cosy offices in downtown Helsinki and Turku and we’re hoping to meet you face-to-face from time to time. Other than that, you are free to work wherever you want in Finland!
What we are looking for:
- Experience in building mid to large-sized WordPress projects with the Gutenberg editor
- Strong knowledge of frontend development technologies, including PHP, HTML, CSS, SCSS, Javascript
- Experience in React and integrations
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and people skills – you communicate effectively with both team members and clients, as well as keep others updated on progress
- A proactive approach to work and professional development
- The ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- The willingness to help others by sharing your knowledge, and the capability to ask for help whenever needed

At Evermade, you won’t be shipped to a client to sit with unknown people every other quarter. All the work we do is done in-house, at our cosy office in downtown Helsinki, because we believe you’ll get the best out of yourself when you’re surrounded by your team.
To support you through thick and thin is your client team, consisting of account managers, project managers, designers, and developers. Your team is like your home – it’s where the everyday stuff happens. We have five account teams at Evermade. We do a lot of activities together both on a team and a company level, from sports and movie nights to beer tastings and parties.

With us, you’re able to be creative, progress professionally, and constantly learn new things. You have one day per month to spend learning about your competence. This day could be spent attending a seminar or an event, or it can simply mean closing Slack and learning from the comfort of your couch. Evermade Care is our designated support team that handles everything related to the day-to-day running of our clients’ sites, services and eCommerce stores.
